Get involved!

The life of the church looks a lot different since the pandemic but it is still as strong, just looks a little different.

There are lots of things to get involved in and join, weekly prayer meetings, life groups to mentions a few. All these things happen online on various platforms.

  • kidzone

    Kidzone is our fantastic children’s ministry, for those aged 3-11yrs. Kidzone takes place during our Sunday service, and is a space aimed to help children build a personal relationship with God and each other, whilst having fun along the way!   • the core

    The youth of DCC are also known as ‘The Core’. This is for those aged 11-18yrs. We gather every Sunday evening, from 6-8pm, at The Hope Centre, to play games, catch up and explore more about the Christian faith.   • young adults

    Whether you are looking for work, just starting college or here in Derby for university, we want to create a space for you to meet people and have some good fun. Our Young Adults meet regularly for social gatherings such as game nights, bowling, trampoline park and much more.   • Life groups

    One way we grow together is by being together. We have a range of online life groups that meet weekly or fortnightly. The groups are very relaxed and you can just come and be yourself. JOIN A LIFE GROUP

  • Happy Days

    Are you 55 or over? Why not join us for lunch and a chat at Happy Days every Thursday in the Hope Centre. Click here for more information

  • Prayer

    Ultimately we unite together to meet with Jesus, and one way we do this is through prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God, and we believe when we pray God hears us. We meet online in the week to pray together. You can join us on Tuesday mornings 7.30am-8am or Wednesday evenings 7.30pm-8.30pm. Please email prayer@derbycitychurch.co.uk to receive details how you can join the prayer meetings.

  • join a team

    We have many teams in the life of the church to help us do what we do. We are always looking for people to join our worship & production team, kids & youth team, welcome & hospitality team and many more. If you are one of our regular attenders and would like to serve on team then please do get in touch. We are #dcctogether

  • Worship

    Another way we meet with Jesus is through song. We have missed doing this together but thankfully now, we can worship with one another in person. We have a wonderful band who lead us right where we are online and in person every Sunday. Our leaders also provide a playlist for us to listen to every month.   PLAYLIST

  • SPORT

    If you enjoy playing football you are very welcome to join us on Friday evenings for 5 a-side 8pm-9pm. Please email dan@derbycitychurch.co.uk to get involved.
